Dear Mr. Robin Williams,
We here at If I Blog It They Will Come are always excited when a new project pops up with your distinguished moniker attached to it. Why this very morning we happened upon a story linking you to a new Stephen Soderbergh production based on a script by David Mamet for a project entitled The Prince of Providence. Needless to say we were ecstatic to learn the news of your potential involvement along with a sterling ensemble that might feature the likes of Oliver Platt in the title role along with Dermot Mulroney, Bradley Cooper, Ed Burns and Adam Golberg.
Now we know nothing has been set in stone yet, but we look forward to the cinematic tour de force that’s sure to ensue once all the t’s are crossed and the lowercase j’s are dotted in your contract agreement. Being amongst such a solid group of actors is truly a one worth pinning the future hopes of both box office and critical acclaim to. We here at If I Blog It They Will Come know a thing or two about pinning our hopes for success on the performances of accomplished actors. Ever since we began as a blog in January of ’07, we’ve only associated ourselves with those whom are the best at their craft in the hopes of creating our own winning ensemble. However, much like the The Prince of Providence we’re still awaiting one very critical piece of the puzzle…and that is the involvement of one Mr. Robin Williams.
Mr. Williams, the only way our ensemble at If I Blog It They Will Come will ever be complete is if we were to one day have the good fortune to acquire a photo of you looking at our blog in our inbox at djayek@yahoo.com.. Whether or not we receive critical acclaim or blog office success is immaterial. We’re simply trying to create a winning combination of humor, heart, and grit…all characteristics which we have tried to vicariously embody by praising both you and your work. In any case, we hope you see fit to join our winning ensemble soon so that we may proudly proclaim you The Prince of If I Blog It They Will Come. Thanks for your time and consideration on the matter.
Sincerely,
The Casting Directors at “If I Blog It They Will Come’
